Project g9 - Trott Brook Trott Brook is the park district between Variolite Street N.W. and Ramsey Boulevard N.W. north of 153rd Avenue N.W. and south of Trott Brook. Currently located in the district are the Traprock and Titterud Parks. It is proposed that in 1996, from the Landfill Trust Fund, $12,000 be allocated to pave the Titterud parking lot. Project . Trott Brook Year EaI1Killg Titterud parking lot 1996 $ 12,000 - LFT $ 12,000 Project #10 - The Rum River District In 1992, the Rum River district, located east of Trunk Highway g47, south of Trott Brook and north of 153rd Avenue N.W., received the development of Bear Park off Roanoke Street and Woodland Green improvements south of 157th Avenue N.W. and west of Yakima Street N.W. It is proposed that in 1996, from Landfill Trust Funds, $10,000 be allocated to pave the Bear Park parking lot serving the 1992 development of the ballfield. Project . Rum River District Year ~ Bear parking lot 1996 $ 10,000 - Ll:rr $10,000 Project #11 - The Marble District The Marble district is located south of t53rd Avenue N.W., west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. and east of Ramsey Boulevard. Currently there is some park development in this district at Peltzer Park. It is contemplated that within this Capital Improvements Program in the year I996, $97,000 will be set aside in order to realize initiation of development of a significant ballfield area just south of 153rd Avenue N.W. and west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard. Development of this area will provide for an alternative concentrated play and tournament area for youth baseball and softball activities to Central Park. Due to its location adjacent to the urbanizing area of the communi~, it also provides for fairly accessible recreational opportunities to this current and future concentrauon of residential development.
