Council previously authorized construction of all of <br />the 1993 projects. They ~e currently in varying stages of completion. You have also authorized <br />preliminary engineering and appraisal services on ali of the 1994 and 1995 roadway <br />xmprovements. <br /> <br />Of the 1994 - 1995 projects, we have received appraisals on the 1994 McKinley project. Council <br />authorized an offer for the two properties in the amount of the appraisals, and they have been <br />submitted. Engineering services have been awarded to RLK and Associates for the preliminasy <br />engineering for the final leg of 155rd Avenue. Their work is intended to begin either this fail, or <br />spring of i994. Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. received preliminary engineering for <br />Sunwood Drive west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and contract engineering for that portion east of <br />Sunfish Lake. This work has just begun. <br /> <br />Council has also authorized a City initiated street paving program for gravel roadways. This <br />activin,, as well as feasibility studies for the 1994 street maintenance program, is slated to begin in <br />November. <br /> <br />Staff has been working with Anoka County and MnDOT on T.H. ~g47 improvements, including <br />the intersections of 142nd Avenue and C.R. #5. Engineering beyond concept drawings for <br />Ramsey's portions of these projects has not yet started. It is expected that T.H, ~-47 up,aries by <br />Mn_DOT will not occur prior to 1995. <br /> <br />If the I99-4 budget passes, there is an allocation within the general fund of $58,000 for Public <br />Works/Police architectural fees. It is contemplated that a slightly larger allocation [$72,000] in <br />1995 will allow for an award of architectural services by year end 1994 if Council des2es all or <br />pan of this project to proceed at that time. <br /> <br />Counc~ has previously autho~qzed an alloc, afion of $120,000 per year towards me Parks CIP in the <br />years 1993, 1994, and 1995. For 1994, Council has authorized a pordon of this $120,000 to be <br />allocated for the C.R. #116 Alternative Transportation Corridor project which has received <br />approval for federal funding. The balance of the Landffil dollars is proposed to assist in land <br />acquisition for the 153rd Avenue completion. This has not yet received Council approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
