CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~/92-19 Date: Improvement Project: Contractor: Current Contract Amount: Award Date: November 16, 1993 g92-19; Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer and Street Construction (authorized by Change Order No. 1 of Improvement Project No. 92-17) Bonine Excavating, Inc., Elk River, MN 55330 $60,998.95 (amount authorized by Change Order No. I of Improvement Project No. 92-17) March 23, 1993 Nature of Change: Due to the inability of extending the sanitary sewer to the future Ramsey Meadows subdivision through the extension of 150th Lane N.W. to 149th Lane N.W,, it was determined to be necessary to lower the sanitary sewer main previously stubbed out in the summer of 1992 under Imp~vement Project No. 92-17. Due to an increase in the ground water level between the fall of 1993'~and spring 1993, it was necessary to dewater for the installation of 250 feet of sanitary sewer. This dewatering was not anticipated in the unit prices provided by the Contractor for this work. The Contractor should be compensated for the extra effort and cost of the dewatering. Cost of Change: The Conn'actor is proposed to be compensated for the dewatering and core drilling the existing manhole as follows: Invoice from Blake Drilt/ng Co. plus 15% (attached) Provide rock for sump Core bore manhole and add rubber boot Total Cost of Change: $2,875.00 $250.00 $380.0O $3,5O5.00 Revised Contract Amount: $64,503 Approvals: This document will become a supplement to the Contract and all provisions will apply hereto.
