Mr. Erikson noted that his property is zoned B-1 and buildings <br />up to 35 feet in height are allowed in B-1. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the principal use of Mr. Erikson's land is <br />residential and therefore, even though it is zoned B-l, it is subject to <br />residential regulations. At the time the variance was applied for, one of <br />the options discussed that would be available to Mr. Erikson was splitting <br />off that part of the parcel on which the new building is located and that <br />new lot and building would then be subject to B-1 zoning regulations. <br /> <br />The Commission requested being provided copies of the related Board of <br />~justment minutes from 1987. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to table <br />action on Mr. Erikson's request until later in the evening when past <br />minutes relating to this case are available. <br /> <br />Motion carried. LuAnn stated that she is requesting a <br />conditional use permit to operate a small print shop from her garage; her <br />business will be conducted over the telephone and will be strictly a pick- <br />up and delivery operation. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />recommend City Council adopt findings of fact relating to Mark and LuAnn <br />Brozak's request for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue, <br />Howell, Terry, Shumway and Holm. Voting No: None.
