I am not sure all of the answers were <br />c:]ear t.o ever'yor~e~ bu{ I believe the information is <br />available J.n the engineering report and in the government <br />aclency infc:)rmation. <br /> <br />The c,'i]l.y rea]. question was whether or not the incinerat. E,r <br />i:)ar'~ o.F this ~acility would impose environmental hazards. I <br />am as c:oncerr'~ed as anyone about this problem. I live only <br />1/2 mile from the proposed facility. One particular <br />ques'l".~on c:oric::erned the environmental worksheets etc. After' <br />tile meeting, I learned that these are an integra], part of <br />the permit pr'ocess and would be done before any permit could <br />be given. I do ncr[ think this was made clear-. It sounded <br />as though these papers had not been ordered and that they <br />might now be done because the public asked for it at the <br />meet i r'~ ci. <br /> <br />"Fhese are some of my own concerns on this issue. I am very <br />conc:err~ed about our- trash problem as a whole nation and as <br />ar", ir,'Ler'na'~.ior"lal c:or",cer-r~. I would like to always have <br />somebody else tal.::e the res~ponsibility for the waste I <br />gener'ate~ but {ha~ is riof., possible. I aal tired e~ having <br />pec]p].e be like ostrich w:Lth their heads in the sand who <br />t. hil'"~l-:: tha'b somehow {he prab].~m wi].l be taken care r:~4 ar'id <br />that we don't have to be involved, i am not happy tlnat I <br />l~.ve so c].ose to ~he lar'~dfill. I do believe it has lessened <br />the Va].LI~R O~ J]LIr hOL.ISE-~ but I do riot believe th~s ~acility <br />~.,c,u]d cio the same. .. <br /> <br />I want pr-ivai:e inc~usfr'y ~co do the best job possible to help <br />solve the problems we have all created. I expect the <br />cc, mpany ~zo make a profit, while they produce bert. er procJuc!zs <br />for us. Many of my r'~eighbors feel that' they can't trust <br />anyone anymore~ so they are afraid to believe what the <br /> <br /> <br />
