111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 <br /> Record ID 3249896 <br /> Commissioner Van Scoy introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> L„ <br /> RESOLUTION#15-05-114 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO EXCEED THE <br /> ALLOWABLE MEAN GABLE HEIGHT FOR A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING <br /> ON A PROPERTY LESS THAN TWO (2) ACRES IN SIZE. <br /> WHEREAS,Allen and Alycia Skogquist(Permittee)have properly applied for a variance <br /> to Section 117-349 (Accessory Uses and Buildings) of the Ramsey City Code regarding the <br /> maximum allowable mean gable height for a detached accessory building on the property generally <br /> known as 9491 Inverness Lane NW and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 1, Block 1, Northfork Highlands Second Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota, <br /> subject to easement as shown on plat <br /> (Subject Property). <br /> AND WHEREAS,the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 7,2015, <br /> pursuant to Section 117-53 of the Ramsey City Code, and adopted findings of fact relating to the <br /> request for a variance. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1. That based on Findings of Fact#0945,a variance(the"Variance")to the allowable mean gable <br /> height for a detached accessory building (the "Building") on the Subject Property is hereby <br /> granted. <br /> 2. That the mean gable height of the Building shall not exceed twenty (20) feet, measured from <br /> the mean grade adjacent to the Building. <br /> 3. That the Building shall comply with all required setbacks on the Subject Property. <br /> 4. That the exterior finish of the Building shall be the same as that of the principal building on <br /> the Subject Property. <br /> 5. That the proposed Building shall comply with all other applicable Zoning, Building, and Fire <br /> Code standards. <br /> 6. The Permittee shall be responsible for all costs incurred in administering and enforcing this <br /> Variance. <br /> 7. That the Permittee shall obtain all necessary permits prior to commencing any construction <br /> activity related to the Building. <br /> 531010 . 004 <br />
