~ Request For Sketch Plan Review; Case Of Mr. Dick Carson: <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman stated that Dick Carson is requesting sketch plan review <br />of his proposed subdivision west of Ramsey Terrace. The Commission <br />reviewed the proposed plat. <br /> <br />Sid Schaumburg was present and stated that his property to the north is <br />landlocked and the City Engineer has agreed that access would be gained <br />from Mr. Carson's plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Carson noted that he and Mr. Wally Anderson have been working on these <br />sketch plans for one year; Sid Schaumburg was invited to participate but <br />declined. Mr. Carson stated that he is willing to provide access to the <br />north so long as it doesn't cost him too much in lots. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted that the Commission will be very interested in the <br />storm water drainage plan for this plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that Mr. Dick Carson proceed to the preliminary plat stage <br />contingent upon providing a 66 easement between Lots 8 and 9 to access the <br />property to the north. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Hendriksen, Howell, LaDue and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Holm. <br /> <br />Case #14: Request For Sketch Plan Review; Case Of Mr. Wally Anderoon; <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed Wally Anderson's sketch plan for a 55 acre plat <br />east of Hunter's Hill to be developed with 136 single family lots. <br /> <br />A lengthy discussion ensued regarding access to adjacent parcels and <br />traffic amounts. The Commission expressed concern with low lots and road <br />access across lot 32 in the southwest corner of the plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that Mr. Wally Anderson proceed to the preliminary plat stage. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: The Commission recommended that the road near the <br />southwest corner of the plat dead end, rather than cul-de-sac, at the next <br />property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Hendriksen, Howell, LaDue and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Holm. <br /> <br />Case #15: Request For Site Plan Review; Case Of Mr. Larry Rudesil.1; <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Rudesill was present requesting site plan review of his proposed <br />40'x60' building to be located at 7445 Hwy. #10 N.W. <br /> <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission/July 13, 1988 <br /> <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
