Overlaying streets helps to restore a portion <br />of the structural integrity of the pavement sections, while also providing some of the benefits received from <br />crackseal and sealcoat improvements. <br />The 2015 Street Maintenance Project proposes to overlay approximately 3 miles of bituminous surfaced public <br />streets in various locations throughout the City. Attached are Exhibits A through C which show the locations of all <br />streets proposed to be improved with Division B of the 2015 Street Maintenance Program. <br />Bids were opened on July 9th. A total of seven bids were received and were checked for errors and omissions. No <br />adjustments were required. The bids received were competitive and favorable.
