FOCUS AREA
The area of the Lower Rum
River Watershed
Management Organization
(LRRWMO) that could be
analyzed is shown in the
map to the right (covering an
estimated 760 acres). This
area includes portions of the
City of Anoka east of the
Rum River and was chosen
as it has limited
infrastructure to treat
stormwater prior to
discharging into the Rum
River. Final watershed
boundaries will be based on
data provided by each city
(e.g. storm sewer pipes,
catch basins, existing
stormwater best
management practices, etc.)
which will help to determine
pollutant loading to the Rum
River.
WORK PRODUCTS
• Detailed report including:
o Methods used
City of Anoka
Stormwater Retrofit Analysis
piE SA
0 1,000 2,000
Feet
A TVL[R 5T
BOB EHLLN
IIARRIsON ST -•jI F'_:
MAIN ST
RnsSs,
P:Mn15uN5T
JLFFERSCN
MGM
OON RAPIDS
Proposed Reasearch Area
Municipal Boundary
o Catchment summaries including estimated pollutant and volume loads
o Retrofit recommendations
o Maps with identified project sites
o Treatment analysis including estimated pollutant and volume reductions
o Site selection guidance
o Retrofit project ranking
• One presentation of the analysis findings
PARTNERSHIP BUDGET
• Proposed $10,000 project total, including:
o $4,000 - LRRWMO
o $6,000 - Metro Conservation Districts/Clean Water Fund funding
