Mr. Goodrich - subdividing these lots by metes and bounds would still allow
for a legal description of the parcels.

Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to
allow subdividing Outlot "A" in Countryside Estates by metes and bounds
and waive the park fee.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox,
Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.

Mr. Raudio was under the impression the motion included Outlot "A" in
Rolling Green and he would prefer it did.

Discussion ensued regarding Outlot "A" in Rolling Green, and Council has
problems with including it in motion.

Mr. Raudio requests that he be allowed to work with City staff to prepare
an agreement that would be agreeable to the City of Ramsey and himself
regarding legal and engineering aspects.

Councilmember Cox withdraws previous motion regarding subdividing Outlot "A"
in Countryside Estates by metes and bounds.

Mr. Raudio brought up Economic Development Commission and stated that he
and other developers are willing to get things going in the City of Ramsey
economically because it would be beneficial to both parties but it has to
be by invitation. He stated that he has given up attending City meetings
and trying to impose his opinions on the Council. He stated that you can
get all the input in legislation you want, but if you ignore the investors
in the community you won't get far. If Council gets the investors
involved, things will start to happen in the City of Ramsey.

Case #7 Park Dedication Fee Regarding James Refrigeration Plat:

Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to
charge for the one (1) acre platted lot only for James Refrigeration at
a cost of $218.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox,
Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.

Mr. Berg If we charge a park fee for the entire parcel, then legally
James Refrigeration could probably build on the entire parcel.

COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS

Case #1 Petition for Street Improvements:

Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteber§
to direct City Staff to put an announcement in the Ramsey Reporter newsletter
and the Anoka County Shopper that street improvement petitions will be
received through April 30, 1982 for processing in 1982.
