STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />Council noted the following staff reports: <br /> <br />a) City Administrator <br />b) Building Official <br />c) City Assessor <br />d) Police Chief <br />e) City Engineer <br /> <br />With regards to the Police Report, Mayor Gamec advised City Staff to send a <br />letter to the management at the Tech Center regarding vehicles exiting the <br />Tech Center and making "U" turns at Mobil, and further that copies of this <br />letter be send to the Superintendant of Schools and City of Anoka. <br /> <br />With regards to City Engineer Report, Item #5 Sewer and Water Service to <br />Ramsey, Council requested a formal proposal from City Engineer Raatikka <br />for review and/or approval at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1 Extension of Filing Date on Final Plat, Request For; Case of HY-iO <br /> Ramsey: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve of granting an extension of time for the filing of the HY-IO Ramsey <br />final plat to July 1, 1982. The reason for the granting of the above <br />extension of time is due to the current economic condition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Cox, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2 Metes and Bounds Subdivision of Outlots, Request For; Case of Mr. <br /> <br />Art Raudio: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adopt Resolution #82-5 regarding Outlots "A" and "B" of Countryside <br />Estates and Outlot "A", Rolling Green Addition in regards to Mr. Art Raudio's <br />request to subdivide them by metes and bounds. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution #82-5 .) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Cox, <br />Sorteberg and Reimann. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3 Site and Design Plan for Recreation Facility, Case of Mr. Oren Lemke: <br /> <br />Mr. Oren Lemke and Mr. Kirk A. Ziegler were present at the meeting. Mr. <br />Ziegler gave a verbal presentation of a proposed sports and entertainment <br />complex to be developed on city owned property. Complex would include a <br />dance hall with bar and banquet facilities, game room, offices in which <br />to conduct building and softball operations, pro shop. Park area would <br />include softball/baseball fields, soccer/football fields, trails for hiking <br />and cross country skiing, overnight camping, canoe and boat docking, public <br />playground and picnic area. <br /> <br />C/January 26, 1982 <br /> Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
