Mayor Gamec - I am in favor of rezoning in order to keep an overall <br /> basic consistency with theory of keeping water useage restricted <br /> in those areas. <br /> <br />City Building Official Berg stated that the objective is to prevent <br />a premature need for municipal sewer and that he feels Industrial <br />areas should not be treated any differently than Business areas. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Mayor Gamec to <br />adopt the findings of fact on the proposed zoning of the following <br />described property from Industrial to Rural Industrial (RI-la): <br /> <br />That property generally lying northwest of the intersection of U.S. <br />Hwy. #10 and #169 and Armstrong Boulevard, which property is <br />specifically legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The North 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4, that part of the <br />Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 lying northerly of <br />U.S. Highway #10 and #169 and that part of the Northeast <br />1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 lying northerly of U.S. Highway <br />#10 and #169, all in Section 29, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Motion denied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmember Van Wagner. <br />Voting No: Councilmembers Cox, Reimann and Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Mayor Gamec to <br />adopt proposed Ordinance 82-5 to rezone the following described <br />property from Industrial to Rural Industrial (RI-la): <br /> <br />That property generally lying northwest of the intersection of U.S. <br />Highway #10 and #169 and Armstrong Boulevard, which property is <br />specifically legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The North 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4, that part of the <br />Southeast 1/4 lying northerly of U.S. Highway #10 and #169 <br />and that part of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 <br />lying northerly of U.S. Highway #10 and #169, all in Section <br />29, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Motion denied.
