City Engineer Raatikka informed Mr. Cox that additional gravel will be <br />added to this area. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox brought up the subject of Outlots A, B, C and D. He stated <br />that in the past. outlots have been dedicated for drainage purposes, deleted <br />from paving assessments, and after streets are in and paid for. fill is added <br />to these outlots, building permits obtained and houses built on these outlots. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that some are deemed outlots because they are <br />a part of an original homeplace and some are deemed outlots for drainage. <br />He further stated that when it comes to assessing, these outlots should be <br />specified. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that in his view, Outlots A, B, C, and D of Rodeo Hills <br />are more buildable than some of the lots that have already been built on. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #82-46 Ordering Improvement and Preparation of Plans for the <br />Rodeo Hills Improvement Project #82-2, and further to include Outlots A, <br />B, C and D in the assessments. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #82-46). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Barthel's Rum River Acres, Street Improvement Project #82-3: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimman and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #82-47 Ordering Improvement and Preparation of Plans <br />for the Barthel's Rum River Acres Improvement Project #82-3. (Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #82-47). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann authorizes City Administrator <br />Schnelle and City Engineer Raatikka to meet with Mr. Barthel for the purpose <br />of drawing up a contract committing Mr. Barthel to an $18,000 assessment for <br />this project. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox brings up the point that if Mr. Barthel walks away from <br />the project, who will get the assessment intended for Mr. Barthel. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Cox, <br />Sorteberg and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Bower's Mississippi Acres Third Addition, Street Improvement <br /> Project #82-4: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />adopt Resolution #82-48 Ordering Improvement and Preparation of Plans for <br />the Bower's Mississippi Acres Improvement Project #82-4.
