Case #4: <br /> <br />Approval Of General Specifications For Cleaning Service For The <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, Maintenance Of Outside Grounds And <br />Maintenance Of Ramsey City Parks And The Authorization To Advertise <br />For Bids For Same: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />acknowledge receipt of the General Specifications for cleaning service for <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, maintenance of outside grounds and maintenance <br />of Ramsey City parks and authorize Staff to advertise in the official <br />newspaper for price quotes for a period of two weeks and said price quotes <br />to be opened on May 5, 1982 at 4:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Approval Of Gasoline Licenses For Ralph's Country Meats and Tom <br /> Thumb Food Market: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilm~mber Van Wagner to <br />approve of the license applications for gasoline sales for Ralph's Country <br />Meats located at 14550 Armstrong Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, and for Tom Thumb Food <br />Markets, Inc. located at 14911Ramsey Blvd. N.W., Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Approval To Purchase Cable And Post Fence For Area In Brookview <br /> <br />Park: <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan (Chairman, Park and Recreation Commission) and Mr. Lynn Bohand <br />were present at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Donovan, speaking for Mr. Gary Kryier, who could not be present,and <br />Mr. Lynn Bohand, informed Council of the need of a fence of some type <br />to identify the boundaries of the park to avoid trespassing onto the private <br />property of Mr. Kryier and Mr. Bohand by people using the park. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann to authorize the purchase and installation <br />of a single cable/post type fence for the purpose of identifying the <br />boundaries in Brookview Park at a cost not to exceed $300 and further to <br />install signs to inform people of the operating hours of the park. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner seconds for discussion. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the $300 was for a single cable fence only. The <br />interested parties are now requesting double cable, signs, and an additional <br />80 feet to be fenced off. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann restates his motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann to authorize the purchase and installation <br />of a single cable/post type fence for the purpose of identifying the <br />boundaries in Brookview Park at a cost not to exceed $300. Motion seconded <br />by Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner.
