Council further authorizes Merle Mevissen to submit a separate cost estimate <br />for signs and an extra 80' of fencing to be acted upon at the next regular <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />ADDITION TO AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox notes a Mr. Kenneth Miller in the audience. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to add <br />Mr. Kenneth Miller to the agenda as Item #7. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller stated that he wants to build an accessory building on his property. <br />He wants to build it 26' by 36' and he was told by the Building Inspector <br />that ordinance does not allow an accessory building that large on a one acre <br />lot. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to table <br />this case until the next regular Council Meeting, by which time Council should <br />have some input from Building Official Berg on this matter. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann inquired as to how progress is on the "true center- <br />of-road" matter. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle informed Mr. Reimann that the matter has been taken care of by <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the finishing of lower level at City Hall is almost <br />completed. As a result, there are many items the City could auction, such <br />as old folding chairs bicycles and a copying machine. It is the Mayor's <br />recommendation that an auction be tied in with an open house at City Hall. <br />He also suggested that local clubs and organizations have displays set up <br />at City Hall for open house. City should provide cookies and coffee for the <br />open house. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to approve the City sponsoring an Open House at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, on June 5, 1982, at a cost not to exceed <br />$i5o. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Jeanne Schlueter = Inquired if there were plans for a pay telephone to be <br />installed in the lower level of the City Hall and if there was an entrance <br />to lower level to accommodate the handicapped. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mrs. Schlueter that an extension phone in the lower <br /> <br />Sp C/April 20, 1982 <br /> Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
