in Ramsey that are legitimate and some that are not. Another legal question <br />is how long is a grandfather right good for? City should catalog all of the <br />conditional uses and when they expand they should come back to Council for <br />review. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that a grandfathered business in a residential area <br />should be taxed the same as the businessman in a commercial area. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle suggested that the City Assessor and Council should establish a <br />policy for assessing businesses in the residential areas. <br /> <br />Council authorizes City Staff to compile a catalog of non-conforming use <br />businesses in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mr. Glen Semanko - Requested clarification as to how the matter of unlicensed <br />vehicles is going to be handled. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated the following: <br /> <br />1. Serve notice to clean up within 15 days or legal action will be <br /> initiated. <br /> <br />2. Prosecution by City Attorney if not cleaned up within 15 days. <br /> <br />Case #7: Change of Meeting Dates: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to hold <br />only the second scheduled monthly meeting for the months of June and July. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #8: Creation Of Local Development Corporation: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #82-74 directing City Staff follow the appropriate procedures to <br />incorporate a non-profit Local Development Corporation, further to authorize <br />the Mayor to be the incorporator and authorize the expenditure of the <br />incorporation expenses, and further that these out-of-pocket expenses will <br />be in the area of $150.00, exclusive of legal costs. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #82-74). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #9: Adoption Of Council Resolution To Reduce Lot Assessment In Deerwood <br /> <br />Addition: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #82-75 to delete a half assessment from Lot 1, Block 4, deerwood <br />Addition. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #82-75). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
