Voting No: None.

Mayor Gamec informed the Antonson's that the portion of their home that is
used for the beauty shop will be taxed commercially.

Case #8: Rum River Meadows Associates:

Mr. Wilbur Dorn was present at the meeting. He stated that the subject
property is a parcel of about 90 acres lying at the northeast corner of
S.T.H. #47 and 167th Avenue NW which is in the City's Rural Service area
where densities are one per ten acres, which Metro Council mandated and
Ramsey approved reluctantly. The sketch plan was submitted for all 2½
acre lots and has been assessed assuming a density of 2~ acres. Mr. Dorn
stated that the long range goal for this parcel of land is a back 9-hole
golf course to Mr. Bulen's 9-hole golf course. Mr. Dorn stated that he,
Mr. John Berglund and Dr. T. Anderson need a back-up plan if Mr. Bulen's
golf course doesn't become a reality. That back-up plan would involve
continuing with the 2% acre platting and approaching Metro Council. Mr.
Dorn is requesting Ramsey's support.

Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to
give Mr. Wilbur Dorn Council consensus that Council will give his request
serious consideration provided he obtains Metro Council approval to
plat at 2~ acres density. ~'

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg,
Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.

Councilmember Sorteberg noted that Ramsey has to go to the EQB to build
a home on the river and to the Metro Council for a'home within the City,
when is Ramsey going to get control of itself again?

Case ~10: Miscellaneous Items (Local Planning Assistance Loan Guidelines

And Draft Of The Metro Transportation Development Guide/Policy

Plan For 2000):

Refer to Page 20, Paragraph 1 of these minutes.

C/September 28, 1982
