The special Council Meeting adjourned at 7:15 P.M. to hold the following public <br />hearings: <br /> <br />1. Improvement Project #82-2, Rodeo Hills, proposed assessments. <br />2. Improvement Project #82-3, Barthel Rum River Acres, proposed assessments. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann called the special Council Meeting back to order at <br />7:57 P.M. to make the following presentation. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox introduced Mr. and Mrs. Charles DeZaney to the audience. <br />Councilmember Cox presented Mr. and Mrs. Delaney with a plaque of appreication <br />from the City of Ramsey for the Game Fair that they recently sponsored on <br />their ranch. Councilmember Cox commented that it is a pleasure to have citizens <br />of their calibur in the City of Ramsey and that the City will continue to <br />support their game fair events. <br /> <br />Mr. Delaney thanked the City for it's support and commented that next year's <br />game fair should be even better. <br /> <br />The special meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M. to hold the following public <br />hearings: <br /> <br />1. Improvement Project #82-4, Bowers Drive, Third Addition, proposed assessments. <br />2. Improvement Project #82-5, 157th Lane N.W., proposed assessments. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 8:37 P.M. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec arrived at 8:45 P.M. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann called the special meeting back to order at 8:50 P.M. to <br />hold the following public hearings: <br /> <br />1. Improvement Project #82-6, Bowers Mississippi Acres, proposed assessments. <br />2. Improvement Project #82-7, Bowers Mississippi Acres 2nd Addition, proposed <br /> assessments. <br />3. Improvement Project #82-8, Deerwood, proposed assessments. <br />4. Improvement Project #82-9, Shady Lawn, proposed assessments. <br /> <br />The above public hearings adjourned at 9:52 P.M. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann called the special Council Meeting back to order at <br />9:52 P.M. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Adoption Of Resolution Adopting Assessments For Street Improvement <br /> <br />Project #82-2 (Vanadium Street, Uranium Street, 177th Avenue, 178th <br /> <br />Lane, 179th Lane and 180th Lane): <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka commented that improvement projects are not close enough to <br />completion to warrant a punchlist yet and the contractor does have a $200/day <br />penalty facing him if the work isn't completed by November 4, 1982. <br /> <br />Sp C/September 29, 1982 <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
