Mr. Schnelle stated that the City should lease the airport property as a
protection item.

Councilmember Sorteberg volunteered to work with Mr. Schnetle and Mr. Greenberg
on this matter.

Case #5: City Park (Former Raudio Property):

Councilmember Cox inquired if there has ever been a property survey performed
on said property°

Mr. Raatikka stated that there is a property description but an actual boundary
survey has not been performed.

Mr. Berg stated that a property survey has not been performed on the Ramsey
Municipal Center property and the R~msey Public Works Garage property.

Motion by Councilmember Cox authorizing a property survey be prepared for
Ramsey City Park (former Raudio property), Ramsey Municipal Center and Ramsey
Public Works Garage.

Further Discussion: Mr. Schnelle suggested that the City acquire a cost
estimate for these surveys before authorizing such an expense. Councilmember
Cox inquired if it were possible for the City to provide an access to City
Park this Fall yet. Mayor Gamec stated that he was under the assumption that
the persons who were donating grading of the City Park would also grade an
access. Councilmember Cox replied that those persons would not have authority
to construct a City street into the park. Mayor Gamec replied that if they
are willing to donate the access also, let them. Councilmember Cox replied
that maybe City should not expect volunteer developers to also provide an
access. Councilmember Cox also noted that this proposed development has not
been approved by the Ramsey Park Board yet. Councilmember Sorteberg stated
that he would like to see some w~itten proposals regarding who is developing
the park, an estimated cost of survey and Ramsey Park Board's feelings on
the proposed development.

Motion fails for lack of second.

MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT

None.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to
adjourn the special Council Meeting.

Motion carried.
