PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Monday, December 6, <br />1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich (Arrived at 5:20 P.M.) <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special meeting to order at 5:13 P.M. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Henry Hanson - 2231Folwell, St. Paul - Mr. Hanson stated that he owns a tree <br />farm in Ramsey, that there is a ban against burning in a pine forest area, <br />and he is requesting Council approval to burn diseased and dying trees from <br />time to time. <br /> <br />Council added Mr. Hanson's request to the agenda as Case #3 under Council <br />Business. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that he would like to discuss Metro Waste Management <br />Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Council added Metro Waste Management Advisory Committee as Case #4 to the <br />agenda under Council Business. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve <br />the agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br />Case #3 - Council Business - Henry Hanson Request To Burn In Pine Forest <br /> Area. <br /> <br />Case #4 Council Business - Metro Waste Management Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor'Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Van Wagner, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg.
