Case #10: Anoka County's Resolution Authorizing The Amended Landfill Inventory <br /> Submittal To The Metropolitan Council: <br /> <br />Council noted Anoka County's letter dated December 16, 1983 with Anoka County's <br />Resolution #83-114 which is an amendment to Resolution #82-47. <br /> <br />Case #11: O~enin~ Of Com~uter Bids On December 16, 1983: <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and secondedl.by Councilmember Reimann to review those <br />bids received on December 16, 1983, or subsequent thereto, and because of <br />irregularity in receipt of the same, to authorize Staff to advertise for new <br />bids to be opened as soon as reasonable after the publication date. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Schlueter. Voting No: None. ADsent: Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Case #12: Transfer Of Funds Requiring Council Action (2nd Part): <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Reimann, for further <br />discussion, to adopt Resolution #83-214 authorizing the transfer of funds. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-214). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann inquired if any of these transfers <br />of funds referred to the Community School Program. Mr. Schnelle replied that <br />they did not. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg <br />and Schlueter. Voting NO: None. Absent: Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has been contacted by the City of Blaine in regards <br />to the proposed race track and they are not requesting monetary support from <br />Ramsey but rather requesting Ramsey support of the Blaine site in Anoka County. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt Resolution <br />#83-215 stating Ramsey's support of the Blaine site· for the proposed race <br />track. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-215). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Voting No: None. Abstain: <br />Van Wagner. <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg and Reimann. <br />Councilmember Schlueter. Absent: Councilmember <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #5: Authorization To Pre~are Airport Master Plan And Request State Grant <br /> Assistance: <br /> <br />Airport Commission Chairman Ippel,-Mr. Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson Eng., <br />and ~erland Otto of Ralph Burke Associates were present. <br /> <br />Mr. Ippel stated that the Airport Commission has conducted several meetings <br />and it has become obvious that they need professional assistance in studying <br />the airport issue. A proposal for an airport master plan has been brought <br />forward by Hakanson/Anderson and Ralph Burke Associates. The State has been <br />contacted and they would prefer an airport master plan from Ramsey and will <br />assist in the funding of this plan at the rate of 80%. <br /> <br />C/December 20, 1983 <br /> Page 16 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
