Mr. Raatikka also stated that the airport report prepared in 1978 only <br />looked at the physical constraints and this new report will look at <br />how the site can be upgraded in order to meet State standards. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he wants to know what the costs will be to upgrade <br />the airport and what the benefits of the airport are to the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve of the Airport Commission ordering a feasibility study on Gateway <br />North contingent on the State funding at least 50% of the study. <br /> <br />Furthar Discussion: Councilmember Van Wagner brought up the question of <br />who pays for land purchases necessary and the relocating of Industry Blvd. <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the feasibility study is necessary in order to be <br />able to answer questions regarding the success or failure of the airport. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Schlueter. Voting No: Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #5: Request To Move In A Single Family Residential Structure; Case Of <br /> <br />Mr. John E. Loftus: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />authorize Mr. John E. Loftus to move in the dwelling that was inspected by <br />the Building Official contingent upon the applicant entering into a develop- <br />ment agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~13: Request To Move In A Single Family ReSidential Structure; Case Of <br /> Mr. Tom Sauter: <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that he has inspected the structure that Mr. Sauter is <br />proposing to move to Lot 9, Block 4 in Hunters Hill Addition. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that maybe a public hearing would be in order. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that the City did not require a public hearing in the <br />case of Mr. Loftus. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that several residential dwellings have been moved into the <br />City and the only complaints received were in regard to modular homes being <br />moved in. Mr. Berg also stated that Mr. Sauter's house does comply with <br />City's ordinance in regards to size, but that it will require the addition <br />of a garage. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />authorize Mr. Tom Sauter to move in the dwelling that was inspected by <br />the Building Official contingent upon the applicant entering into a develop- <br />ment agreement with the City and that the addition of a garage shall be <br />one of the requirements of that development agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
