probationary period and his supervisor, the Principal City Engineer/Assistant Director of Public <br />Works, recommends that Mr. Linton be retained as the regular, full-time Civil Engineer II. <br /> <br />3) AFSCME Contract Negotiations <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed reviewed the proposed AFSCME contract changes. <br /> <br />4) LELS Contract Negotiations <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed reviewed the proposed LELS contract changes. <br /> <br />5) 2004 Wages and Benefits for Non-Represented Employees <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed reviewed the proposed wages and benefits for non-represented <br />employees. <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed advised the Personnel Committee recommended approval of <br />the five cases as recommended by staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Personnel Committee for Cases 1 through 5, which includes adopting <br />Resolution #04-03-064 authorizing staff to begin the recruitment process for an Engineering <br />Tech II and Resolution #04-03-065 ending probationary period for Leonard Linton and granting <br />him status of full time regular Civil Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Kurak, Elvig, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Outlots A and J Ramsey Town <br />Center Addition. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the Master Development Agreement between the City of Ramsey and <br />Ramsey Town Center LLC requires that the City convey Outlot A, Ramsey Town Center <br />Addition and Outlot J. An ordinance for this purpose was introduced at the February 24, 2004 <br />meeting, and is now being presented for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Ordinance <br />#04-04 authorizing the sale of Outlots A and J Ramsey Town Center Addition. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook: <br />Councilmember Elvig: <br />Councilmember Kurak: <br />Councilmember Pearson: <br /> <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br /> <br />City Council/March 9, 2004 <br /> Page 12 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
