The overall community will be looked at, not just the Town Center. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook to adopt the Five-Year Strategic Planning Goals and Action <br />Steps. <br /> <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />There was considerable discussion concerning amendments to the plan. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to direct staff to make the following amendments to the City <br />of Ramsey Five Year Plan of Strategic Planning High~Priority Goals: <br /> <br />Goal 3, bullet point 5: <br />If necessary, begin land and easement acquisitions. <br /> <br />Goal 4: <br />Implement a City Hall project. <br /> <br />Goal 5, bullet point 1: <br />Analyze the needs for new municipal facilities <br />acquiring land through the CIP process. <br /> <br />and develop strategies for preserving and <br /> <br />Goal 5, bullet point 2: <br />Discuss with the school districts serving the City regarding future school district needs.
