In the <br />event that public open space that is not dedicated to the City is developed independently of any <br />particular residential project, the land area of the open space shall be divided equally among <br />those abutting projects for purposes of density calculations. <br /> <br />(b) Residential units that contain a driveway and front door to the residential unit within the <br />fi'ont yard setback area must have a driveway length of at least 25 feet. In these instances, <br />buildings can be setback a maximum of 30 feet. <br /> <br />(c) All residential units with attached garages must have driveways that are at least 25 feet in <br />length unless the garage and driveway are located in the rear of the building and the front door to <br />the residential unit faces a public street or a private street that provides for parking on at least <br />one side. In these instances, driveways must be a minimum of 20 feet in length and served by a <br />private road that is at least 24 feet wide. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #04-11 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City o f Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #04-11 to amend Chapter 9.20.25 (Town Center Zoning <br />District ) of the Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivision of Land) to specify the <br />measurement of' fi'ont yard setbacks and length of driveway for units zoned Town Center. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
