Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Johns, Kuzma, <br />Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Strommen. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARING <br />None. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Request to Approve Contract with The Tinklenberg Group for Work Regarding <br />Improvements to US Trunk Highway 10 and Related Rail Crossings <br />City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report and recommendation to approve the contract <br />with The Tinklenberg Group for the work regarding improvements to US Trunk Highway 10 and <br />related rail crossings. He noted that the Council further discussed this item earlier tonight in the <br />work session. <br />Councilmember Shryock provided additional input on behalf of the Subcommittee and <br />commended Mr. Tinklenberg for his efforts and the momentum that the City was able to gain. <br />Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Williams, to approve a <br />contract with The Tinklenberg Group for work regarding improvements to US Trunk Highway <br />10 and related rail crossings. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Kuzma noted that he was originally against the work with <br />The Tinklenberg Group but has changed his mind. He stated that the congestion on Highway 10 <br />is astounding and is a problem for the City of Ramsey and its development. He stated that there <br />is good momentum and the City needs to keep pushing. <br />Councilmember Riley agreed that he would like to stop the contract when the time is appropriate, <br />noting that this is not the appropriate time as the City needs to continue its momentum. <br />Acting Mayor LeTourneau stated that this has been an uphill battle and the City needs to <br />continue its efforts. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Shryock, Williams, <br />Johns, Kuzma, and Riley. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Strommen. <br />7.02: Consider Adopting Resolutions #15-07-167 and #15-07-168 Approving a Conditional <br />Use Permit for Auto Sales in a B-2 Highway Business District on the Property <br />Located at 6650 Highway 10 NW; Case of Dunmark's Auto Sales <br />Community Development Intern Solomonson reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />adopt the proposed Resolutions approving a Conditional Use Permit for auto sales in a B-2 <br />Highway Business District. <br />City Council / July 28, 2015 <br />Page 4 of 8 <br />
