B. No -Build Mitigation <br />There are few mitigation recommendations due to the adequate level of service at most <br />intersections. The following suggestions are anticipated to provide adequate service for <br />the 2040 No -Build conditions. <br />1. Geometric Improvements <br />It is recommended that the following changes be made with regard to the intersection <br />geometry in the study area to provide acceptable operations in 2040: <br />Armstrong Boulevard & Alpine Drive <br />• Add eastbound and westbound thru/left and right turn lanes (mid-term) <br />Armstrong Boulevard & Bunker Lake Boulevard <br />• Re -stripe southbound lanes to include a dual southbound left turn lane. <br />A southbound double left turn lane will help reduce queues entering the <br />COR development. Improvements were done in 2011 to this intersection <br />and a future southbound left turn lane was designed, but not striped. <br />(mid-term) <br />The proposed 2040 no -build mitigation should provide a LOS of D or better for all <br />intersection movements.
