REGULAR MEETING OF THE RA~ISEY TOWN BOARD <br /> October 21, 197~ <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by the Chairman, <br />Mr. Cox. Present were Mr. Hopperstad~ Mrs. Oliphant, Mr. Rei- <br />mann, Mr. Nelson of the Board and Mr. Steffens, Mro Goodrich, <br />attorney and Mr. Fricke, engineer. <br /> <br />Mr. Nelson moved the minutes be accepted as mailed. Seconded by <br />Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. Four voted for the motion. Mrs. <br />Oliphant voted against it. <br /> <br />Mrs. Oliphant moved the Sept. 16th minutes be corrected to re- <br />flect that she did not ask Mr. Walton to resign but had suggested <br />he get a high school boy to help him. She said the lady in the <br />audience who had replied saying that this was the same thing, <br />should be identified. She said she did not say Mr. Walton had <br />lied about the matter but that a statement that had been made was <br />a lie. Mr. Nelson withdrew his motion. Mr. Reimann withdrew his <br />second to the motion. Mrs. Oliphant moved what she had said be- <br />fore be made a motion. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Mrs. Oliphant <br />and Mr. Hopperstad voted yes, Mr. Cox voted no, Mr. Reimann and <br />Mr. Nelson abstained from voting° <br /> <br />Minutes should read that Mr. Steffens help set up the selection <br />procedure. He would not make the final selection. Mr. Reimann <br />moved we accept the minutes with this correction. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Park Board report was given by Mrs. Schneider. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we give Mir. Steffens authority to keep on <br />screening applicants and that 'the position not be voted on until <br />the new city council takes office. Seconded by Mr. Nelson. The <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we accept the preliminary plat of Carter <br />Valley subject to the following: <br /> <br />Lots ~ and 5 of block 10 be made into one lot. <br />170th Lane be made into a gradual curve as illustrated to the <br />Board tonight <br />That the proposed 11.8 acre park be referred back to the Plan- <br />ning and Zoning Commission pursuant to Sec. 1 Ordinance 7~-2 <br />and specifically that part of that ordinance which amends <br />Sec. 8.06 of the Township Subdivision Ordinance No. 8 and <br />that the Town Board act on said plat and grant preliminary <br />approval only if the Planning and Zoning Commission affirms <br />the proposed 11.8 acre pa~ area as proposed by the developer <br />at the Town Board meeting on October 21, 197~ and as presented <br />by the developer's agency of Nason-Wehrman, Chapman and Assoc- <br />iates. <br /> <br /> <br />
