- 3- T.B.8/19/74

Mr. Youngblood: Mr. Hopperstad went up to check out this matter
last Thursday evening, He said a couple loadsof rock are needed
to correct this problem. Mr. Goodrich said Mr. Youngblood should
build his own retaining wall. The Board does not feel this prob-
lem belongs to the Township.

James Wolff: 13348 Arrowood Ave. N.W. He wants to use a building
as a temporary office until he can get a reasonable structure put
up. He wants to build a 30x60 building to start in a couple of
weeks. He will be putting in footings. The temporary building on
his property now is 12x20. He has a well that has been inspected
and he wants to put in a sewer. It is the old Hilltop municipal
building. He will put skirting around it.. Mr. Hopperstad moved
we grant Mr. Wolff permission to use this temporary building for
90 days for an office. It is a lO& foot well and has been certi-
fied. He would transfer the water to his new building. Seconded
by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried..

Fred Klammer: He brought a letter which he read to the Board. He
said he appreciated the offer of the Township to fill his ditch.
Mr. Klammer stated he did not agree with the minutes of the June
17th meeting stating he had given permission for this ditch to be
put in between his property and that of Mr. Stenberg. He said he
had only given permission for a slight depression "like a sidewalk".
He was asked what good a sidewalk would do to relieve this area of
the water. Mr. Cox said he had told him and those assembled that
permission was given. The letter will be accepted and put on file,
and the notation will be made that Mr. Klammer disagrees with the
minutes for June 17, 1975. Merle Mevissen said we were waiting
to hear what the Township Engineer will say about the drainage on
these roads.

Hagen Addition: Countryside Estates roads. This whole addition
should have the roads brought up for a public hearing with Ermine
Blvd. in the west addition. We will send a letter to the people
living there stating what the project is and what we propose to
do about it assessing the cost to the property. We will have a
public hearing on September 10, 1975 on this project. This should
take place after the incorporation decision. We will get figures
on both blacktopping and gravelling.

Ordinance on establishment of police department. We will give Mr.
Steffens this situation to check over for us. We will have Mr.
Steffens get together with Mike on this situation.

Ordinance on disorderly conduct: We will wait on this ordinance
and try to enforce the State law first.

Conservancy: Mr. Nelson read a report on the meeting he attended
on amendments considered to the County Shoreland Management Ordi~
nance on July 25th. We will wait until we become a city before
we do anything further along this line.
