REGULAR MEETING OF RAMSEY TOWN BOARD <br /> <br />July 15, 197~ <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by the Chairman, <br />Mr. Cox. Present were Mr. Nelson, Mrs. Oliphant, and attorney <br />Goodrich. <br /> <br />The first order of business was swearing in of the Clerk to fill <br />out Mr. Peterson's term~byMr. Cox. Then the Clerk performed <br />the same office for Mr. Gary Reimann as supervisor to fill out <br />the term of Er. Herb Murphy. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last stated meeting were read by Mr. Nelson. <br />Mr. Reimann moved the minutes be accepted as read. Seconded by <br />Mr. Nelson. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Treasurer's report was read by Kathleen Anderson, Treasurer. <br /> <br />The minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting were <br />read by Mr. Reimann. <br /> <br />The Park Board report was given by Mrs. Schneider. Mrs. Schneider <br />stated there might be funds available for the Township if we had <br />a professional planner to plan our parks, otherwise they could not <br />get any funds for the parks. Copies of the Planning & Zoning <br />minutes are to be given to the Park Board. A planner for the Park <br />Board is to be discussed at the next Planning & Zoning meeting. <br />Discussion on new members for the Park Board. <br /> <br />Mr. A1 Zajic: He was present to apply for a bingo permit for the <br />Anoka Firemen's Trap Shoot on September 8, 197~, Sunday, from <br />8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. He described the entertainment for this <br />event. Mr. Nelson moved we issue this permit as requested for <br />a bingo gene on Sunday, ~eptember 8, 197~ at the St. Anthony Gun <br />Club from 8:00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. subject to legal counsel's appro- <br />val. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Dillon: Discussion on group ordinance. Er. Goodrich <br />read some State statutes on misdemeanor in regard to unlawful <br />assembly to disturb thep ~isorderlM conduc~, or to threaten <br /> 609eace' 609.715, 609.72, 609.725, and 609.7~. <br />public peace; 609MSA .705, <br />Mr. Dillon stated he felt the statutes already on the State books <br />were not being enforced. He feels the owner's responsibility was <br />not enforced either. Mr. Carlson has metal signs up and an earth <br />barricade. Mr. Reimann moved that as long as we have a State <br />statute covering this problem that this should take care of the <br />matter. There was no second to this motion. Mrs. Oliphant moved <br />we review this ordinance until our next meeting. Seconded by Mr. <br />Nelson. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated the cemetary just ~ast of the airport was <br />deeded to the Township in 1865, one acre more or less. The proper <br />thing to do is to have a survey and get deeds from the Industrial <br />Park for this property. We should get a deed from the airport. We <br /> <br /> <br />
