- ~+ - ?.B. 5/20/7~+ <br /> <br />Rezoning on Highway No. ~7 and. l~gth Avenue from residential to <br /> <br />residents in the area had signed a petition against it. <br /> <br />On June llth at 7:00 p,m. there will be a public hearing in the <br />Town Hall by the Town Board on Mro Menkveld*s request for rezon- <br />ing on Highway No. ~7 at l>h Ave. from residential to commer- <br />cial. The surrounding property owners will be notified to 350 <br />feet. <br /> <br />James McGrath's request for a variance for a horse barn was tabled <br />until the next meeting because he was not present. <br /> <br />The proposed horse ordinance will be tabled until the June <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Russell Yves= Wanted permission to build a sign shop on Sun- <br />fish Lake Blvd. at 15225. There will be no additional traffic, <br />no noise, no pollution and no outside storage. The building will <br />conform to the buildings in the neighborhood, This is just a <br />supplement to his business in St. Paul. He isjust asking for a <br />workshop. The building will be 2~x~O. He is unable to find the <br />amount of space he needs t~ rent that he can afford. He had state- <br />ments'from his neighbors that they did not object to'this building. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission had recommended this be granted. <br />Mr. Hopperstad n~ved we grant this home:occupation permit based on <br />a letter from him that there will be no sign outside. Seconded by <br />Mr. Murphy. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Ronald Danner. Wants a cabinet shop ~Ox~Owtth no!i'~lumbing. <br />It would be well insulated and heated forwinter wOrk. He had <br />letters from his neighbors agreeing ko this business. He has 10.9 <br />acres, is 300 feet from the closest neighbor and 50 feet from the <br />road. It would be wood structure with cedar front. The exterior <br />would conform to the neighborhood, ~.~s.~told~ some of the people <br />in the neighborhood did not want_ this business to come in and they <br />had a petition of protest with 11 signatures which had been given <br />to the Board, Mr. Nelson moved to deny this request, Seconded by <br />Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Air Show: Mr. Duke Carlson requested a permit for the air show <br />to be held July 13th and l~th. Ne explained the various acts <br />that would be in the show. They want to borrow our snow fence <br />again. They were told that last years bent 'posts had not been <br />paid for as yet. They also want permission to close some of our <br />roads in that area during the time the show is on. The show will <br />cost $35,000. Mr. Hopperstad moved we grant permission for the <br />show provided they clean up their bills such as fence posts, a ,d <br />the engineering bills and also that they advise the surrounding <br />property owners about the. show. Seconded by Mr. Nelson. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
