Mr. Robert Dillon spoke about the property on the east side of the Rum River where the fieldparty was held on which a youngman was stabbed a short time ago. He said no effort had been made to keep the public off this private property.' There is no fence or any signs put up. He-said they had contacted Mr. carlson, the owner, but that so far nothing has been done. They would like the Board to make an effort to stop such activities in this area. He said there was also some shooting going on over there which is also illegal. They are not satisfied with the service they have received from the Anoka County Sheriff's office. Also his tractor had been damaged with shotfun shells. They requested that we contactthiMr's Carlson about putting up some kind. of barricade to block off area with railroad ties put deep into the ground. They would also like Mr. Carlson to furnish the policewith a letter stating that anyone coming onto this private property was tresSpassing. Mr. Ooodrichwill draw up an ordinance about groups congregating in the area. Mr. Hopperstad moved that we accept the recommendation of'the Plan- ning and Zoning Commission to rezone parts of the B-2 areas along the Mississippi River back to the way it was formerly before the new zoning ordinance wa8 passed that is 2?5 feet south of the No. 10 Highway is commercial and south of that to the river i8 resi- dential r-1. Seconded by Mr. Nelson. Motion carried. Mr. Chester: Insurance. He explained all of our insurance cover- age including the umbrella.package, as follows: $395.00 for work- mens compensstion deposit per year (increased bgnefits will raise this by 8.80), $105 annualpremiumonumbrella,$850 package lis . bility insurance for general liability andauto libability plus property insurance on buildings, contents and autos, $85 for various bonds. Mr. Hoppermtad m~ved we accept this insurance coverage up to September 1975. Seconded byMr. Nelson. Motion carried. Mr. ~oodrichwill check withNr. Gesko about the firecontract. Rodeo Hills: People were ~resent about two petitions which had been presented to the May 6th Planning and Zoning Commission. A log pile has been moved to'another area. Today they started fill- ing in the area~bere they had been taking out the gravel. Mr. Hall will take care of the mining operation within 15 days. The log piles have to be taken care of by the next Board meeting. Mr. Hopperstad moved we ex~end the time for Mr. Hall to have the roads in Rodeo Hills up to Township standards to the next Town Board meeting, June 17th, providing the bond extends to cover this. Seconded by Mr. Murphy, Motion carried. There was also a petition to have the roads blacktopped. Mr. Sba was asked what he thought the present cost would be. He said he did not know but a guess would be $10.00 per foot.
