- ~ - Pub. Hrg.3/~/7~

Mr. Lundheim: Cost would be $50,000 to $60,OO0 and still have
an unsatisfactory road The road is about 2!
· s miles in length.
Mr. Scroggins owns about half a mile.

Question:
highway?

Do they have to have a permit to park trucks on this

Question: Would it be possible to meet with someone from the
County who is designing this road?

Mr. Fields: Any person who wants to go up to the County Engineer's
office is welcome to do so. The County cannot spend any money on
this road unless it is a 120 foot road.

Jean James: They own land on both sides of the road. The east
side is pasture. Why should they lose their front yard when they
could use the pasture owned by them across the street?

Mr. Lundheim: Said it couldn't be changed.

Mrs. James: Just because it was done that way 50 years ago, why
does it have to be done that way today?

Mr. James: Doesn't want them to even touch his place.

Clifford: Why should we build a road and then give it to Anoka?

Mr. Cox: We have had many reques~ from people who live on this
road asking when something is going to done on Sunfish Lake Blvd.
If the population increases, we are going to have to look for the
future.

Mrs. Dickenson: Wants to know about the licensing of the Anoka
landfill. Answer: Anoka pays a $750 a year license fee. Next
year they will pay $12OO. The County was told by the State that
they had to license this landfill. The lar~ill has just hurried
this road because it will be a major highway in the future.

Mr. Hubbard:
question?

Why don't the residents vote for or against' this

Mr. Cox said we should recognise the fact that Mr. Fields and Mr.
Lundheim had taken the time to come out here and explain the
effort that has been put into this project.

The Town Board will hold another hearing continuance on this mat-
ter at 7:00 p.m. on March 18, 1974.

Mr. Scroggins:
put it back?

If the County takes out his fence, will the County

Meeting closed at 8:30 p.m.

R~spec tfulljf ~ubmitt ed,
Deputy Cle~k~
