- 3 - T.B.2-19-74 <br /> <br />nautics Department. There may be reasons why we do not need to <br />make a decision on this matter. There may be ~ meeting on infor- <br />mation about airport zoning on March 26th at 7.30 p.m. with the <br />Metropolitan Airports Commission in attendance. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox moved we lease the proposed park area adjacent to the new <br />elementary school for the purpose of a playground with the main- <br />tenance taken care of by the School Board and with a first option <br />to buy this property. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />We have asked Mr. Gary Gorham to do something about a summer re- <br />creation propram for Ramsey Township. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox moved that we authorize our Clerk to provide the necessary <br />personnel to conduct the coming election and accept the slate of <br />names of those who have filed for this election. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion on service road on Highway No. 10 in neighborhood of <br />the Tec. Center. <br /> <br />We will be electing two more supervisors for the coming year. Mr. <br />Goodrich read the ,proposed ordinance No. 74-1 concerning this. <br />Mr. Cox moved this ordinance 74-1 be accepted. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />We will write to the Minnesota Highway Department advising them <br />we want some type of crossing on Highway 10 near Kovar Manufactur- <br />ing and Berg Oil Co. which will provide facilities for the business <br />people along this stretch of road who are suffering because the <br />previous cross overs were taken out. <br /> <br />Four people were injured in an accident on Highway #47 at 160th <br />Lane. We will ask the Minnesota State Highway Department to refer <br />to our previous letter to them on October 25, 1973 requesting a <br />passing lane and an acceleration lane at 160th Lane and Highway <br />No. 47. <br /> <br />Mr. Sha was asked to check out the road situation at Azurite and <br />Highway No. 5. <br /> <br />We will delegate our Highway Department to get with Mr. Springer <br />and see what needs to be done to get the playground equipment <br />ready for summer. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy said Mr. Mevissen had talked to him about a Lincoln <br />Welder which would be needed for this work on the Playground equip- <br />ment and which, was on sale at Big Bear. Mr. Hopperstad moved we <br />buy this welder. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we pay the bills as listed. <br />Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Seconded by Mr. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox moved the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Mr. Hopper- <br />stad. Motion carried.
