Gordon Wheeler: Wants a permit for a pole barn on Variolite St. N.W. He has 18.9 acres which has a width of 638 ~eet. He will exclude lot GG as an unbuildable lot and this will~tatedrin_ the deed and he will send a copy of the warranty deed'{o the ~ownship after it has been recorded. He must fill out a variance form on this matter. Motion was made by Mr. Cox that this variance be granted to Gordon Wheeler on the south 233 feet of the east 698.22 feet of the west 964.22 feet of the north ½ of the NE ¼ of Section 16, Township 32, Range 25, subject to road easement over the north 33 feet of the west 66 feet thereof. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Discussion on Hall-Anderson Acres. He was told to contact Mr. Fricke when he has completed his work. He cannot get any permits until this work is completed. He can get two permits in Golden Eagles plat. Lawsuit with Brooklyn Center: Metro Council has put in an answer and it also covers us. See Dick Sha about this. E-V Builders Variance request: Mr. Murphy moved we grant this var- iance which has been checked out by Mr. Goodrich. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. Gun Ordinance change: The owner or l~see of 40 acres or more can come in to the office to get a permit to shoot just slugs during deer season only. The above motion was made by Mr. Cox to change Ordinance 73-10 with the addition~change of 500 feet instead of 500 yards." Seconded by Mr. Murphy. Motion carried. The owner or someone with a badge may be allowed to practice shoot in Bearl's gravel pit. They will need a permit from the constable. Mr. Mike Auspos works from ten to twenty hours a week for the Town- ship with no remuneration. He should be paid for this. Some men doing this work are getting $6.00 per hour plus uniforms. They get $5.00 per hour at ball games. Mr. Cox moved we hire Mr. Aus- pos at $5.00 per hour not to exceed 20 hours per week. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Mr. Goodrich will writ~to Mr. Jahnke about his junk in his yard. Resolution to be sent to the I~C: Whereas the City of~ Anoka has proposed to extend its northwestern boundary to 149th Avenue, westerly to include the landfill and southerly along Sunfish Lake Boulevard and County Road No. 57 to the Mississippi River; and whereas we feel this is unreasonable and would take away from an industrial and residential tax base that would hinder Ramsey from becoming a viable governmental unit; and whereas earlier meetings with Anoka had indicated cooperation in squaring off any~irregular areas; be it therefore resolved that the Town Board of Ramsey re- quests the Minnesota Municipal Commission that the existing bound- aries between Anoka and Ramsey be maintained with no further al- terations.
