The annual license fee is
$25.00. The permit fee is $10.00. Mr. Hopperstad moved we pass
the above Ordinance No. 73-11 by reference of the Minnesota State
Code. Seconded by Mr. Murphy. Motioned carried.

Ordinance No. 73-12 will be tabled until our next meeting.
ordinance deals with subdivision design.

This

Mr. Murphy had had a call about a skunk coming across on 156th
Avenue. The people living in this area think the skunks may be
coming from an old abandoned barn on Highway #83 and they want to
have this barn inspected and, if possible, torn down. We have the
right to condemn buildings if they are not being used and they are
a hazard. Mr. Virgil Johnson is the owner of this barn. This was
the barn that was set on fire this summer to destroy a car which
had been used in a crime. We will call Mr. Bernie Stephens to see
if the County has an extermination program that could be used for
this barn. Mr. Pittman stated he had seen about 15 skunks while
he was on the roads inspecting in just one day.

No culverts have been put in that were supposed to be put in last
spring in Halland Acres plat and so building permits will be held
up until the culverts are put in.

Mr. Tom Way from Thorpe Bros. was present. He wants to sell 5 acres
up on the northern border a part of which extends into Burns To%~n-
ship. The prospective ~uyer wants a private road to come out on
Highway No. 64. He doe~ not have the required 300 feet on one of
our Township roads which is a requi, rement for a building permit.
He wants a variance to build in this location which is quite low.
The Town Board said he would have to have a 66 foot easement going
out to Highway No. 64 to be maintained by the owner of this pro-
perty. He will also have to have soil borings before he can get a
building permit. The park fee is $100.00 and the variance fee is
$20.00. The Building Inspector was asked to check out this loca-
tion before such a variance is issued. Mr. Hopperstad moved that
if these requirements are met that this variance be granted to
allow them to put in a private access road 66 feet wide to Highway
No. 64 to be maintained by the owner of the land. Seconded by Mr.
Murphy. Motion carried.

A & R Development requested a variance of two feet on a lot on the
corner of Marble St. and 164th Ave. Mr. Goodrich will check this out.
