- 3 - T.B. - O-73 Mr. Gilbert Menkveld's representative was present with a drawing of a restaurant he plans to build in Ramsey. It was shown and explained to the Board. It will have a seating capacity of 150 in the main dining room. A cocktail lounge will hold 36 to ~O people and an informal bar will hold 50 people. It will be placed on a piece of land between 5 and 20 acres. It will probably open next spring or early summer. Mr. Erwin Specht brought in a petition with 65 signatures on it regarding the road in the northwestern part of the Township. We will take this under advisement. The airport zoning matter will be tabled until next meeting. We can hire Mike Auspos as a part time policeman. We will talk to Mike about this. Mr. Hopperstad is checking out a used tractor that is to be used by the Park Board. There is a time limit on all permits. Mr. Goodrich will notify Mr. Menkveld about this. Mr. Richard Lorenson had requested that the $200 check which he had put up as security to clean up his operation when he moved~bereturn~. There is still a truck body there. When this is removed his check will be returned to him. We have received a summons from the Metropolitan Council. Mr. Goodrich will check out this matter. No building permits will be issued on Halland Acres or Hall-And- erson Acres until the culverts have been put in. Mr. Clyde Russell needs a variance. He has 30 lots left. Two men were present from the River Hills Addition. They live on Yakima Street. They say their yards are washing out. One said there is a four foot hole in his yard. Mr. Barstow said the only remedy is to blacktop the bottom of the ditch. Mr. Barstow said we had a number of problems like this and will have to construct a blacktop spillway. Mr. Hopperstad moved we pay the bills as listed. Mr. Murphy. Motion carried. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad moved we adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Mr. Murphy. Motion carried.
