SPECIAL MEETING RAMSEY TOWN BOARD <br /> August 6, 1973 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Murphy, <br />at 7:00 p.m. Present were Mr. Cox, Mr. Hopperstad, and Mr. <br />Peterson. <br /> <br />Mr. Hall and Mr. Raudio presented the final plat of Hall's Dover <br />Acres on Highway No. 5. This special meeting was called to con- <br />sider this plat and they paid $100.00 for this meeting. The Town <br />Board accepted the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission on this plat and after consideration of this plat Mr. <br />Hopperstad moved we accept this final plat with 40.09 acres and <br />32 single family dwellings and one area for a church. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Harold Stoesz was present. He requested permission to live <br />in a trailer house at 169th and Zirconium on the lot where his <br />house is being built for three weeks until his house is completed. <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we give Mr. Stoesz permission to live in the <br />trailer house for three weeks until his house is completed°, Sec- <br />onded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Leonard Jones was presented. He requested a variance to build <br />a house at 13316 Xkimo Street on a 100 foot lot which had been <br />platted before 1968 and does not come within today's require- <br />ments. Mr. Cox moved that this variance be granted. Seconded <br />by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hemphill had gotten a building permit around the first of May <br />of this year. He was not able to sell his home in which he pre- <br />sently lives in time to build a house and move in before school <br />starts and would like to keep this permit until next year. He is <br />going to sell his house in the early spring and then he will have <br />time to get a house built before fall. The Board decided he could <br />keep his building permit until next spring and build at that time. <br /> <br />The Knights of Columbus have requested a cigarette license and a <br />bingo permit for August 7 thru 12th for the Anoka County Fair. <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved the Knights of Columbus be given the cig- <br />arette license and the bingo permit for August 7th thru 12th, <br />1973 to be used at the Anoka County Fair. Seconded by Mr. Cox. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Park Board had requested that developers be requested to clear <br />the tops of swamps or other areas containing water in parks that <br />are given to the Township at the time land is platted. The Board <br />indicated this would be done. <br /> <br />Mr. Marvin Heyne of the Allen Co. was present. He wants building <br />permits for two homes in the northern part of the Township on <br />Highways 64 and 83. One parcel is 9.17 acres and one is 9.16 , <br />acres. The back half of these to areas are low and no house could <br />be built on them. In view of this fact Mr. Hopperstad moved that <br />Mr. Heyne be permitted to build on these two areas. Seconded by <br />Mr. Murphy. Motion carried. These two areas are in Section 6, <br />Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br /> <br />
