Discussion on the <br />fact that 157th Avenue might be a through road across the town- <br />ship. Mr. Cox moved we accept this preliminary plat pending the <br />recommendation to go ahead and grant an easement in the lower <br />corner of the plat according to the engineer's recommendation. <br />Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. The easement in <br />question is 20 feet along the lower edge of Block 3, lots 1, 2, <br />3, ~, and Block 6, lot 1. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy moved we reconsider the approval of the plat of A & <br />R Development called Woodlawn Estates in that we require a recre- <br />ational easement on the entire west side of this development. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Windsorwoods Plat: Mr. Robert Vander Pol: Mr. Vander Pol has <br />paid us $93.00, $25.00 for plat fee plus $1.00 per lot and half <br />the cost of the special meeting. This plat has 18 lots in 70.6 <br />acres. Change name of street to 178th Avenue. Mr. Cox moved <br />we accept this plat providing an easement of 20 feet be granted <br />along the north edge of Block 1, lots 1, 2, 3, and g and along <br />the southeasterly edge of existing County ditch Block 1, lots 5, <br />6, 7, and 8. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Carson-Homes, Inc.: Sports Haven. Engineering report must be <br />checked out on this plat for road ~aintenance according to Plat- <br />ting Ordinance No. 8. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox moved we accept the proposal of purchase of Class V <br />gravel from Gram & Ricke, 305~ 17~th Ave. N.W., Anoka, Minn. <br />for $1.25 per yard. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Mr. Cox moved <br />we accept the bid of Ranco Trucking, Inc., 18160 Cedar Drive N.W. <br />Cedar, Minn. for the hauling of Class V to the 7th Avenue project <br />for $ 1.55 per yard by Clyde Russell's plat. Seconded by Mr. <br />Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. easement was granted by the <br />Board. Mr. Peterson will take care of returning these papers to <br />the telephone company. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed. Klemish: He brought his plat. He asked about the tarring <br />of the roads. He was told this requirement was for the welfare <br />and betterment of the community. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox moved we grant a variance for Mr. Solmonson as requested. <br />Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad.
