The government pays 80~ of their wages and the Town
Board pays 20~. We would have to supply workmen's compensation in-
surance. The student has to show that he has a definite financial
need. We would be required to keep his time and submit it every
two weeks to the Tec. School and they would bill us monthly or
quarterly. The Board would prefer it on a quarterly bases. This
program becomes effective July 1st. We would probably need general
maintenance type of work. Mr. Hopperstad moved that we go ahead
with this program starting July 1st. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion
carried.

Mr. Dick Johnson of the TEe. Center and the Gateway North Industrial
Airport (new name for airport on Ramsey Blvd.) invited everyone to
come out to see the airport. They will have a first class facility
here. They are having an air show on July l~th and 15th at which
they are expecting 80,OOO people from around here and the surround-
ing states. Attractions will be the Rangers Flying Association and
the famed Thunderbirds from the Air Force. It is an international
championship air show. There will be 3 hours and g5 minutes of un-
interrupted air performance on two days each. The FAA has safety
precautions and regulations to which they are conforming. They
would like to have permission to close Highways #56 and 57 for the
actual time of the air shows on each day. They have a 260 man force
who take care of this, parking, etc. Mr. Johnson showed a 15 minute
film on a Thunderbird performance which was very exciting. They
have made arrangements with the Minneapolis papers to carry exten-
sive coverage on this show and they will have a flyer campaign in
which we were encouraged to participate with material on our To,ma-
ship. They will need a half mile of snow fence. This will provide
a 1500 foot separation between the crowd and the performance area.
They would like to get a two day beer license to be used at the
airport proper for these two days. This show will bring many new
people to this area. Ramsey Township has about 30 rolls of snow
fence at 50 feet per roll. They expect to park about 10,000 cars.
