Mr. Cox moved we give the approval for the beer license, provide <br />whatever fencing we have available provided they put it up and re- <br />place it, and give approval for the temporary closing of Highways <br />No. 56 and No. 57 for July l~th and 15th providing they have the <br />men to control the traffic for these periods. Seconded by Mr. Hop- <br />perstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />To adequately protect the property around the airport as well as <br />the public some type of airport zoning is indicated. Mr. Johnson <br />had a plastic model to show the Board. Mr. Johnson left with the <br />Board a proposed airport zoning ordinance. This had been cleared <br />with the state Department of Aeornautics. On the north side of <br />Highway 10 thirty feet is the top heighth for a building. Mr. <br />Fleissner said this should be studied very carefully before this <br />zoning is agreed upon. <br /> <br />Mr. Hegel had requested a place on the agenda but was not here. <br /> <br />Mr. Tooker will be meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />on May 31st and June 14th at 7:30 to go over the comprehensive Plan <br />for the Township. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy asked the other members on the Board if they had any cor- <br />rections or additions to the proposed zoning code. Mr. Hopperstad <br />moved that on page 27 they change the word "exclusive" to "inclu- <br />sive''. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we adopt the new zoning ordinance 73-5 as <br />amended. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. This will be pub- <br />lished in the Anoka County Union. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox moved we adopt the new zoning map as the official zoning <br />map for Ramsey Township with the exception of the east portions <br />of the Township which had been annexed by the City of Anoka in 1971 <br />but which we had only been notified about a week ago in Sections <br />35 and 36 and have it published with the zoning ordinance. Seconded <br />by Mr. Hopperstad. Mr. Neilson requested that the A & R Development <br />which has three forties in the northwestern part of the Township <br />would like to have two of these forties changed from a-1 to r-1 be- <br />fore the new zoning ordinance is adopted. Mr. Hagen indicated he <br />had a deal on this land in the fall of 1972. Mr. Murphy asked when <br />this land was purchased by the A & R Development. Mr. Bullick said <br />this land was purchased on September 17, 1971. This property was <br />sold twice on the same day. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Revenue Sharing: Mr. Cox suggested we use this money toward pub- <br />lic safety such as police protection. We have a commitment from <br />Washington that the governor's crime commission will be getting to- <br />gether with us about police protection. Mr. Cox moved we commit <br />50~ or $2588 of revenue sharing for police protection. Seconded by <br />Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hopperstad moved we commit 50~ or $2589 to purchase equipment <br />for our highway department. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
