CONTINUATION OF MEETING OF APRIL 16, 1973 OF RAMSEY TOWN BOARD
May 1, 1973

Mr. Murphy stated that some of the developers had not paid their
platting engineering fees. Mr. Cox moved that we hold up build-
ing permits on the unpaid plats which had not complied with Or-
dinance No. 8. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. The
secretary was instructed to notify each developer whose bill was
not paid that this was being done.

The secretary was instructed to send letters to those individuals
whose fire bills have not been paid informing them of their right
to appear at the May 21st Town Board meeting concerning the fact
that their unpaid fire bills will be assessed on their tax r611s.

Mr. Bardy Weir reported that there is a lot of refuse blowing
around in that area from the newly platted areas. A letter should
be sent requesting Whispering Pines plat be cleaned up and kept
that way.

Mr. Charles Rohl: He wants his lots on 155th Ave. taken out Of
the c-1 zone and put back into r-1 because this is high ground.
He also had a drawing of his lots on this street. The Town Board
agreed to make this change in the zoning and told him to go to the
Planning and Zoning Commission with the drawing of his lots because
they do not want the driveways for these houses to come out on 155th
Ave.

Mr. George Krepsky: He said the Minnesota Highway Department had
been to see him about his crossover; that they were going to put
a stop and go sign at Park Street and Highway No. 10 and then his
crossover would be closed. He said 75% of his business came from
the east and this would severely damage his business. The matter
was discussed with him and it was decided he should ask the City
of Anoka if they would build a frontage road on the south side of
Highway #10 coming in from Park Street and then he could build a
road to meet this in front of his place. The Board would also
mention this to the City of Anoka. Construction on the stop sign
will start in July.

Mr. David Voit: He said the zoning on his ten acres north of Trott
Brook on 173rd Ave. has been changed since he bought the land on
July27, 1973. There is a house on this land also. He would like
to have this land zoned in 1 acre lots but under the new zoning all
land north of Trott Brook that is platted from now on will be 2~2
acre lots. This lot size is being used in Burns Township also.
It was suggested he go to the Planning and Zoning Commission with
a plan of his property to see about its division because of roads
and the position of the house on the property.

The Park Board has requested $506.19 to purchase picnic tables and
benches and charcoal burners for some of the parks. Mr. Cox moved
this request be granted. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.
Several of the parks have been worked on and will be ready for use
and they will be putting up signs so our residents will know where
the parks are.
