- 3 - T.B.~-16-

we can put up slow and caution signs. We are going to haYe a meet-
ing on law enforcement in the near future.

Mrs. Ralph Lindquist: She brought a petition with signatures from
15 homes in their neighborhood, 7031 152nd Ave. N.W., requesting
that something about junk cars be done so six places that were
listed on the petition could be cleaned up. She was told the pe-
tition would be filed and that the new zoning code soon to be passed
would have laws that would take care of much of this problem. Only
one junk car would be permitted per house. There was a complaint
about garbage accumulating in a junk car. Mr. Murphy, being the
Health Officer, will check out this complaint.

School Board voter registration will be April 20, 23, and 25 at
the To~ Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Election for School
Board will be May 15th and the bond election will be the same day
at the Town Hall from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Murphy stated
that several month ago they discussed with the School Board secur-
ing two sites in Ramsey Township at this time because at the pre-
sent time we have more than enough children to fill one school.
Mr. Fulton stated another reason to purchase the land now is the
fact that land is increasing in value so greatly. We would like
to rent space from the School Board for our Town Hall and then we
would also like to buy land next to the school site for a play-
ground, fire hall~ police department, etc. Mr. Cox moved we re-
commend to the School District that they buy two school sites at
this time. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

Mr. Fulton: Was present about a grocery store site in Golden
Eagles. He has contracted with someone else to operate this bus-
iness. It would be on Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, on the corner of
Variolite St. and 173rd Ave. with the entrance on Variolite on
Lot 7. Trees would be planted as a screen between the residential
area and the back of the store. Mr. Cox moved this variance be
granted providing a buffer of trees and fencing be put in accord-
ing to the new zoning ordinance with no access from the back of
the lots and the entrance from the south edge of Lot 7. Seconded
by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

Dog Ordinance: Will be taken care of at continuation meeting.

Platting Ordinance Revisions: Will be taken care of at same time.

Mr. Jones said he had talked to Mr. Ajax in the Hagen Addition
about a road in Hagen Addition which has been closed. This is a
Town Road and therefore cannot be closed. Mr. Ajax wants to keep
people from going down this road and parking there at night. A
number of people were present stating this was a Town Road and
had been so for many years. Mr. Ajax had planted trees across
the road. Mr. Specht thanked the Board for their consideration
of this matter and hopes they will build it into a good road in
the future.
