- 2 - t.b.4-16-7]

Mr. Weins, who lives on the east side of the Rum River in RamseY
Township, said their roads had not been maintained this spring.
Mr. Arthur Stenquist had gone out with his own equipment to try
to do something about it. We have an agreement with Grow Town-
ship to take care of our roads over there and we take care of their
roads on this side of the river. We will contact the Town Board
in Grow about this matter.

Our new zoning ordinance will be calling for a zoning officer so
the Township will write up specifications for this position in the
near future. An ad will be placed in the Union. Grow Township
pays their full time inspector $12,O00 a year and furnishes him a
pickup, gas~ radio in the truck and part time office help which
amounts to about $17,O00 a year. Because of the public hearing
which will be held next Monday on the zoning code and map, this
meeting will be continued on May l, 1973 at this hall at $200 p.m.

Jack Hillstrom: Came about a variance on a lot between two houses
which he owns. The size of the lots are more than is required ex-
cept that one lot has 180 feet in the back and 205 fee in the
front. Mr. Cox moved that the 180 foot lot be centered between
the two existing houses no less than 175 feet from the west bound-
ary. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

Thurston Realty: Bowers Mississippi Acres 3rd Addition.
moved we accept this plat. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad.
carried. They will pay money to the park fund.

Mr. Cox
Motion

Thurston Realty: Requested a variance on a lot on Bowers Drive,
371.1 feet on the road and it is the most northerly lot on the
east side of the road. This lot is larger than our requirement
but is the last lot left in this addition and according to our
platting ordinance would require a variance. Mr. Cox moved this
variance be granted. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

They also brought a drawing of a lot on the west side of the road
that had already been platted but because of its peculiar location
they brought the drawing so the building inspector would be aware
of the location.

Mrs. Faye Lemke requested a beauty parlor in her home. She would
be the only operator. She brought two letters from her neighbors
on either side indicating they had been notified and that it was
agreeable with them. Mr. Hopperstad moved we grant her this per-
mit. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried.

Mr. Bob Ehalt: Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. He wanted to know if
there were any plans to have Sunfish Lake Blvd. upgraded. It is
in very bad condition. He was informed the County is going to
take over this road and it will then have a 120 foot right-of-way.
He also wanted to know if we would put up speed signs because cars
are going too fast and he thought perhaps the sheriff's department
could put a speed check on it. He was told the sheriff's depart-
ment has only one car and this would be impossible. Also the Town-
ship does not have the authority to put up speed signs. However,
