Bids for the road graders were considered. Both Wabco and Cater- pillar companies were represented. Very thorough discussion on both machines. Nr. Cox moved that we bum the Wabco ~ grader. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Reasons: Maintenance expense $1,000 less than on the caterpillar~ also it has a buy back price of $2~,02£ after 5 years use as compared to $26~875 givin~ the total cost for use of 5 years at $10,883 compared to $12,39~.80. We also feel that the horsepov~er at the rpm indicated will give us a little more muscle and the hydraulic controls over mechanical com- pared to mechanical alone~ will give us the opportunity to do the job a little more conveniently. We also have a milles per hour differ- ence in high speeds and 2 more gears forward on the Wabco. The in- terest on the total price of Wabco comaared to the Caterpillar was ~-~ for Uabco compared to 5~ on the Caterpillar. Mr. Cox moved we place the following monies in 90 day certificates or savings from our present budget: $20~O00 from general~ $IO,OO0 from Zoning and all of the park monies of $3~O and monies in this fund received fro~ now on. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstado Motion car- ried. Mr. Hopperstad moved we use the same judges that were used in the primaries for the general election Nov. 7th.. Seconded by Nr. Co:-:o Motion Nr. Hopperstad raoved that I'.Sr. Lorentzen be given a six month slSeciai use per:nit under the fol~owing conditions: A fence be built on the east and west sides of the 'oresent fence going south~ that a maxi.- mum of ].2 cars be visible and that a performance bond for the amount of $2OO.OO be given the Tovm..ship to clean up his premises in case of default~ the front to be ~e<~pt in an orderly n.~nner~~ ~ - Seconded by _ Cox.
