<br />Corrections: Addition page 3 "for the grader", voting

<br />Mr. Cox moved the minutes be accepted as corrected.

<br />It was suggested that Mrs. Guy tind the best buy she
<br />can on a cabinet for the plats for the TQW~s,hip office.

<br />Moratorium: Mr. Murphy read the ordinance on the
<br />moratoriu m. I t is to be completed wit 1:1 in 8 ~.pnths. Mr.

<br />Motor Vehicle bids: Geo. T. Ryan Co. bid on one Webco
<br />Model 444 Grader with plow and wing f.f).b. Ramsey
<br />S38,905.<JO; Caterpillar bid on No. 130 motor grader wifh
<br />plow and wing S38,273.80. Mr. Cox moved we table this
<br />matler until WedneSday at the Town Hall. Seconded by
<br />Mr. Hopperstad. Motion car~ied.
<br />
<br />Comprehensive Plan: Mr. Tooker and Urban Planning
<br />are bein.9 considered for planners during the
<br />moratorium. No funds are available from the- state for
<br />this planner.
<br />
<br />Police Protection: Mr. Bill Foote, Chief of Police for
<br />Ham Lake Township diSCUS;~d having a joint pOlice
<br />program for four to seven communities. Ham Lake is
<br />inviting the surrounding townships to meet at Majestic
<br />Oaks to discuss such a program, the date nol yet
<br />determined. Discussion about a volunteer citizens
<br />group of 30 aUXiliary Officers to enforce our own
<br />ordina nces and speed taws.
<br />
<br />Gun Ordinance: Grow TownShip's gun ordinance has
<br />Ihis provision, anyone who owns 10 acres Of land or
<br />more can get a I icense for $2.00. Mr. Gary fl-eimann
<br />was asked to have the 'Planning an.cr Zoning
<br />Comm ission make a study of a gun ordinance. Mr.
<br />Goodrich will supply some more sample ordinances.

<br />Mr. John Speakman represented Mr. and Mrs. Roger
<br />Dickenson with a request for a variance On d lot of
<br />about 1-2 acre called Parcel D. Mr. Hopperstad moved
<br />we accept Parcel D legally described as: Part of lot 26,
<br />Aud. Sub. 96, Cert. of Survey 10.11.72 made by John O.
<br />Oliver and said Parcel shall be exempt from Platting
<br />Ordinance NO.8. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried.

<br />Airport Research Report: Had a hearing On OctOber
<br />4th. Next hearing is Nov. 14 at Anoka Sr. Higlo School.

<br />Mr. Cox moved we appoint Mr. Richard Barstow 10 the
<br />Planning- and Zoning Commission to replace Mr.
<br />Jerich who has resigned. Seconded .9y Mr.
<br />Hopperstad. Motion carried.

<br />Mr. Reimann was asked to have the Planning and
<br />Zoning Commission work on an ordinance 'covering
<br />this area on junk cars. Several questionable areas
<br />were mentioned with regard to this matter and Mr.
<br />GoodriCh was requested to write letters to the
<br />offenders, such as Spruce Haven, Larry Steenerson
<br />and the pony farm.

<br />Wednesday at12:oo noon the Town Board wiU, go 10 Mr.
<br />Lorentzen's place across from the Tee. Center on
<br />Highway No. 10 to check oul his operation as there.

<br />SChOOl Board Committee: Supt. Johnson wants to know

<br />the future. They would like to have this done right
<br />away. Mr. Cox will work on this committee.

<br />Art Hagen: Mr. Hagen was given a list of work that
<br />needs to be done on his development. Mr. Cox moved
<br />these roads be accepted when Mr. Hagen has done the
<br />work indicated and Mr. Cox has inspected the work.
<br />Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion passed.

<br />Mr. Cox will check out the roads in the Gorham
<br />developm ent .

<br />Mr. Archie Lian, 2501 6th Ave., Anoka has a 1 acre
<br />piece of land on 1S3rd and Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. He
<br />wants to build a house. The survey is dated 6.1.65 which
<br />puts it before the Platting Ordinance. Mr. Cox moved
<br />we grant a variance of Ordinance NO.8. Seconded by
<br />Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

<br />Mr. Jerry Bauer wanted to know it he could give us a
<br />certificate of deposit in lieu of a performance bond.
<br />This is for the Ford Brook Estates plat. It was decided
<br />t11is was acceptable. Mr. Cox moved we accept the
<br />roads in the Ford Brook Estates plat. and building
<br />permits can be issued except for west of Hy. 47, lots 1
<br />and 2 of Block 7 and 1 and 2 of Block 8 until the ditch is
<br />lowered to agree with the engineer's inspection.

<br />Mr. Barstow reported Jaspar Street is d~e tonite
<br />excE'pt for culverts.

<br />Sunfish Lake Blvd. Request for removat of sign. Could
<br />be an old cartway. Should be checkad out by Mr.
<br />Goodrich at the Court House.

<br />Mr. Hoium: Final plat on Shady Lawn Acres, 40 acres
<br />with 35 lots, money for parks which has already been
<br />turned 'in. Mr. Hopperstad moved we accept Shady
<br />Lawn Estates plat. Seconded by Mr. Cox. The molion
<br />carried.
<br />
<br />Mr Hoium: Whispering Pines Estates No.3, 6.4 lots in
<br />7.4.7 acres, preliminary. Will give money for parks.
<br />Approved by County. Mr. Hopperstad moved this
<br />preliminary plat be accepted. Seconded by Mr. Cox.
<br />Motion carried.

<br />Complainton Woodland Court. Mr. Sha will be asked to
<br />check this out.

<br />Mr. Cox moved that we will make the Township payroll
<br />from the 15th tothe 15th of Ihe monlh. Seconded by Mr.
<br />Hopperstad. Motion carried.
