REGULAR Mf2ETING OF RAMSEY TO~/~ BOARD July 17, 1972 The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by 'the Chairman, Mr. l'.'ilurphy. Present were Mr. ScarBorough, Mr. Cox, Mr. Peterson, Clerk and Mr. Goodrich~ Tovmship attorney° Mr Peterson rea~_ the minutes of the last stated mee~m__g. Correc- tion in referem, ce to Riverwood Hills Plat #1, it should read "this preliminary plat has been passed". Mr. Scarborough moved the minutes be accepted with this correction. Seconded by Mr. Cox. Motion carried. Report on incorporation preparations: Mr. Charles Tooker is in the process of preparing plats and doing research. We have not had any meetings with him as yet but we will be having meetings before the ne:r.t To~.~aship meeting. September 7th will be the first hearinf!;. ,/~e are not sure of the location of the hearing as yet 'but it will probably be at the courthouse in Anoka. Some people have been concerned about the new platting ordinance. For peoole who had land approved by the Planning and Zoning Com- mission and the Town Board prior to the ordinance going into effect, ali they have to do is appear at the To,~rn Board for approval to sell the lots in these plats. Mr. Scarborough stated these people had been promised by the Town Board that the new ordinance would r~.ot affect those whose plats had already' been approved. The plat- ting ordinance is not retroactive, if someone wants a ~ermit to buil5 on a lot that was surveyed before the ordinance went into effect, each case should come before the Planning and Zoni~:~ Com- ~uission, The purchase agreement or contract for deed faust stay the sam. e as it was before the ~rdinance 'was passed. D'iscussio~:l on secretary for the Township. It was decided it would take too long to go through the replies to the advertisement at this time and it would be taken up at a later meeting. Discussion. on Building inspector's wages. Our Building Inspector f?ts ~0~ and the Township gets ~0~ of the fees. In Grow Towns~,p he gets 90~ and the Township gets 10~. In Cha~k~lin the Building Inspector gets 70~ and the Township gets Grader: i~ir. George ~lide of Forest Lake was present. He sells second hand graders. Mr. Barstow said he had looked at a few second hand graders in different places. He said we 'would have 60 to 70 miles of snow to plow plus the new plats that have been issued this year. Mr. Barstow said the grader has a bad case of asthma, t,;e will need another grader and later on possibly another truck, iqr. ~...iurphy asked Mr. Barstow to give the Town Board speci- fications for a second ha~.d grader so we can advertise for bids.
