~LAH M~T~9 OF TH~ HAlSeY TOWN <br /> <br />May t~, 1~72 <br /> <br />The meeting was c&Xled to order at 8:00 p.m. By the Chairman, Mr. Murphy. <br />Present were Mr. $carBorcugh, Mr. Oox and Mr. Peterson, Clerk, and Mr. Good- <br />rich, Town;hip Attorney. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last stated meeting were read by Mr. Peterson. Correction <br />street wore discussed was between~56 and ~57 roads. Mr. Cox moved the minutes <br />be accepted with this correction. Seconded By Mr. ScarBorough. Motion passed. <br /> <br />~ueetionz Did Oak Grove Township file for incorporation? <br />Answers No. <br /> <br />Mr. Pau'ph2 tbld the people present about the incorptmation meetingwhtch had <br />been held at the Tec. Center on May 9th. Mr. Cox moved that we ask ~M. She to <br />recommend three planners to the ~ownBoard. Mr. Scarborough seconded the motion. <br />Motion passed. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich said he had contacted Mr. Loreneon on Highway ~10 across from the <br />Tec. Center about posting a $3,000 bo~d to be cure that property !e cleaned up <br />before he moves out, and that Mr. Loreneon had refused stating he could not get <br />one. Mr. Searboroug~ amid he thought we should make sure this erea i~ cleaned <br />up. It was decided to have the Municipal Court take care of this matter By <br />having Mr. Lorenson cited for not getting a special use permit for hie opera- <br />tion on this location. It has Been reported that he ie throwing so~e stuff in <br />the river. <br /> <br />The Dog Clinic on Satttrde~y was declared a success with Dr. AndBerg~i~ing the <br />vaccinations ~ud Mr. Peterson issuing the licenses. !13'lioenses were issued. <br />Mr. Goodrich wac a~ked to write up a change for the pre~ent dog ordinance and <br />present it at the next meeting. Mr. Cox moved we have the attorney draw ~p <br />two oha~ges in the dog ordl~nce to Be reviewed at the next meeting. Mr. Scar- <br />borough seconded this metion. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Equalization meeting was discussed. Statement made that a $2~,000 home in <br />Ramsey Township is taxed $1~0.00 less than the same home in Anoka. <br /> <br />A report was made B~Mr. Pittman on the new state building code. In the ease <br />of modular homes, the only inspection is made on the electric work in the base- <br />ment and on the basement and outside plumbing. On the~e matters our ordinance <br />prevails. The state can only control the const~Action of the modular home itself. <br />The size, the sq-~re footing, ie up to the l~oal agency. After July let all must <br />have frost footings. An~ building over 300-sq..ft. ha~ to have fros~ footings. <br /> <br />$1 building permits have been issued Between last meeting and this meeting. <br />128 permits have Been issued since the first of the 2ear. <br /> <br />In the absence of Oar2 Reimann, Mr. Peterson read the minutes of the Planning <br />an~ Zoning Commission. Mr. Peterson also read thc minutes of the public hear- <br />lng ca the Pelt~e~ re~onlng matter. <br /> <br />Mr. Scarborough etate~ he thought some of our l~wlande should Be kept as iow- <br />lands and not drained or filled in. <br /> <br />Mr. ScarBorough moved we approve the rezoning of L;.? acres of Peltzer~s land <br />from re~idential to commercial. Seconded By Mr. C~x. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
