REGULAR MEETING OF THE RAMSEY TOWN BOARD <br /> February 22, 1972 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. Present were ~. <br />Gotham, M~. Mttrphy, Mr. Peterson, Clerk, and Mr. Goodrich, Town- <br />ship Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Mn. Gotham that Mr. Murphy be the temporary <br />chairman for this meeting in the absence of Mr. Scarborough. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last stated meeting were read. Mr. Gotham moved <br />the minutes be accepted as read. Seconded by Mr. Murphy. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated the Teslow Auto Sales on Highway #10 had been <br />contacted by letter about cleaning up the old cars they had parked <br />out in back part of their grounds. <br /> <br />Mr. Pittman stated Mr. Bauer had contacted him about the building <br />permit for his building. <br /> <br />Minutes of the last Planning and Zoning Commission meeting were <br />read by the chairman, Mr. Reimann. <br /> <br />With regard to the item about bricks being stacked in a street in <br />Ramsey Township, it was stated that the constable had been asked <br />to check out this matter. <br /> <br />On March 1st the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public <br />hearing on the new platting ordinance which has been drawn up for <br />Ramsey Township. <br /> <br />Mr. Gotham moved that we hold over any recommendations of the Plan- <br />ning and Zoning Commission until the next meeting because, due to a <br />misunderstanding, a Republican Caucus meeting will be held in this <br />hall at the close of the Town Board meeting tonight. <br /> <br />Street Signs: About 6 or ? .street signs in the township have already <br />been lost or damaged. These signs will not be replaced. Mr. Dennis <br />Anderson said someone has leaned one of the signs up against the <br />side of his garage. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy suggested we check the township insurance to see if this <br />sign damage is covered. <br /> <br />Fire Calls: The Internation Sales & Service on Highway #10 and the <br />Dickenson family have been contacted several times about this fire <br />call. The Township Clerk, Mr. Peterson, sent a registered notice <br />to them to appear at the April meeting about this matter. <br /> <br />We have a $169.00 fire call bill from the Elk River Department. <br />This call is being paid. All fire calls must be paid when received. <br /> <br />Voter registration has been held Feb. 17, 18, 19 and 22. Voter <br />registration will be closed until after the annual township meeting. <br />Anyone wishing to register may do so after the election at Mr. <br /> <br /> <br />
