Mr. Gotham <br />will check with the Humane Society as to whether the present ken- <br />nel in Ramsey Township is adequate. <br /> <br />A request was read which had been received from Mr. DeZiel for <br />a Sunday liquor license. He is building an addition which is to <br />be completed in early March on his present restaurant and will <br />then be open on Sundays. .Mr. Scarborough moved that the proper <br />steps be taken to place this question on the March election ticket. <br /> <br />'Voter Registration - due to the new streets and house numbers in <br />Ramsey Township. All people whose addresses have been changed <br />will have to have their addresses changed on the voter registra- <br />tion books. <br /> <br />Question on snowmobile restrictions. Last year we had a couple <br />of people who volunteered to organize and police their own group <br />of snowmobiles. Mr. Scarborough suggested 'we try to cooperate <br />with the snowmobile people and in turn get their cooperation. Mr. <br />Scroggins said the ones who were a nuisance as a rule didn't belong <br />to a club and Mr. Scarborough agreed with this. However, we don't <br />want to load our books with snowmobile regulations. The state has <br />quite a few restrictions aY this time. <br /> <br />Discussion about a barn near Hy. ~6 and 5 which may be used for <br />repairing cars. <br /> <br />The base for the crossing signals is in. <br /> <br />Discussion on distribution of Ramsey Township directories. It was <br />decided to leave them to be picked up at various business houses. <br /> <br />Discussion on payment of assessor, ~. Larson. Mr. Murphy moved <br />we pay Mr. Larson on a quarterly basis and pay him one-quarter <br />before January 1st. The assessing year is October 1st to October <br />1st. Seconded by Mr. Scarborough. <br /> <br />Next meeting on the platting ordinance with the Town Board and the <br />Zoning Commission will be in attorney Go~drich's office on January <br />10th. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy moved we adjourn the meeting.
